Finally a Christmas dinner again
Die Mitarbeitenden haben sich dieses Jahr ganz besonders auf die Weihnachtsfeier gefreut. Nach der Pandemie-Situation war es nun höchste Zeit, unseren geplanten Event in der Holderschüür in Kirchberg durchzuführen – und er wurde ein voller Erfolg!
A little fun must be
The Holderschüür in Kirchberg is not unknown to Onliners. The organizer has organized a charming Christmas dinner for us a few times in the past. The mix of action and very good food in a cozy atmosphere keeps us coming back to this great location. So also this year.
Everyone likes games. So the infamous Farm Olympics was a successful side program to get everyone in the mood for the evening. After the aperitif all Onliners including partners were divided into groups and they were ready to go. Milking, sawing, looking for a needle in a haystack and other challenges were on the agenda. The teams gave their all and the individual disciplines were fun.
And off to the cozy part of the evening
After an hour of full throttle in the rustic barn, we headed to the cozy warm location and enjoyed appetizers. Our CEO Balz Zürrer spoke a few words about the past year and expressed his recognition and appreciation towards the employees. He presented colleagues new to the company in 2022 with a personal Online mug as a gift. As a little surprise, a staff member then read us a beautiful Christmas story to ponder over. The pre-Christmas atmosphere rose and the guests toasted to a great year 2022.
After the delicious main course from the wood-fired grill, the host conducted the ranking ceremony. The three best groups of the Farm Olympics were honorably awarded and received as prizes fine products produced by the Holderschüür itself. Even the last-placed group did not go empty-handed and received a consolation prize.
Ho Ho Ho…
Suddenly there was a knock at the door and a deep voice asked to be let in. Unmistakably, in a red suit with a beard, Santa Claus entered and greeted the happy guests. He opened his thick book and shared a few funny episodes from the daily work of #proudOnliners. These stories caused a lot of laughter.
The delicious dessert buffet, the atmospheric music in the background and disposable cameras for funny snapshots rounded off the happy evening.
Even though there was slight competition during the Farm Olympics, we enjoyed the evening together and let it end harmoniously. True to our employee motto #proudOnliner. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the organizing team and all the others who made this evening a successful event.
