New perspectives for your quality management with SharePoint Online
Quality management is a key challenge for many companies. On November 28, 2024, as part of our webinar “Simplify your quality management – smart solution with AI & Microsoft 365”, we showed how innovative technologies based on Microsoft 365 can help to make processes more efficient and at the same time increase user-friendliness. Over 100 participants attended live to be inspired and gain practical insights.
Digitization as a success factor: Insights from Agathon AG
The webinar was kicked off by Dominik Schwägli, COO of Agathon AG. In his presentation, he outlined the digital transformation of his company and the introduction of an integrated management system (IMS). He emphasized how important it is to choose systems that are not only functional, but also intuitive to use and can be seamlessly integrated into the existing working environment. The focus on mobile accessibility, clear approval workflows and a strong search function were decisive factors in the choice of solution.

Live demonstration: Quality management with SharePoint Online in action
Michael Kammerer, Head of Microsoft Competence at the Online Group, took over the second half of the webinar with a detailed live demonstration of a quality management solution with SharePoint Online. Participants were given a detailed insight into how the system works and the wide range of possible applications.
One particular innovation was the presentation of QR code document verification. This feature makes it possible to check the authenticity of documents quickly and easily – a major advantage, especially for companies with high traceability and security requirements.
Highlight of the live demo: AI-supported chatbot and natural language input
A highlight of the live demonstration was the presentation of the AI-supported chatbot, which offers a completely new approach to interacting with a quality management system. In addition to increasing efficiency and supporting employees with everyday tasks, one function in particular stood out: the ability to find content using natural language input.
Instead of having to navigate through menus or enter specific search terms, employees can now simply formulate their queries in natural language. The chatbot understands this input, searches the database and delivers the relevant results in a matter of seconds.
This innovation not only revolutionizes the search for information, but also makes using the system more intuitive and accessible. This function proves to be extremely practical, especially in stressful situations, as it saves time and delivers precise results.
In the live demo, participants were able to experience first-hand how this technology works and how it is changing the way quality management is thought about in companies.
