“Summerdays & AI waves” – A festival of encounters and innovation
On Thursday, August 29, 2024, our summer party took place under the motto “Summerdays & AI Waves”. Customers and partners of the Online Group came together to celebrate the collaboration of the past year and to experience an afternoon full of exciting impressions and good conversations.
The kick-off: Relaxed atmosphere and lively discussions
The first guests arrived as early as 4.00 pm. An inviting aperitif at the bar offered the opportunity to get into conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. The bartenders had plenty to offer: From refreshing soft drinks and a selection of beers to creative cocktails such as the “Baby Chatbot”, the “Copilot Mojito” and the “GPT Spritz”. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pleasant temperatures invited guests to enjoy the first rays of sunshine of the late afternoon.
Keynote: A look into the world of tomorrow
The keynote speech, a central item on the evening’s program, began at 5.00 pm. Balz led the guests through informative insights into current AI trends and the role of the Online Group in the dynamic field of artificial intelligence. Ralf then used specific examples to demonstrate how our AI solutions are being used successfully by our customers BERNINA and Schiller. Finally, Marco gave a review of the Online Group’s development since the rebranding. The expansion of our expertise in the area of cloud security & infrastructure and the expansion of the AI team were highlighted in particular.
Culinary enjoyment and exchange
After the keynote, the evening moved on to the cozy part. A sumptuous buffet with fresh salads and homemade kebabs provided the perfect opportunity to enjoy some culinary refreshments. The relaxed atmosphere made it possible to talk about both business and private matters. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, ideal for a summer evening.
Experience technology up close
A special highlight of the evening was the opportunity to test the Apple Vision Pro. Under the expert guidance of René Vogel, also known as “Mr. Vision”, the guests were able to try out the augmented reality glasses for themselves. This glimpse into the future of work was particularly exciting for the tech-savvy participants and generated a great deal of interest.
An evening to remember
The evening went off under the best weather conditions, which made it possible to linger outside until late into the night. The focus was on conversation and exchange, and the pleasant atmosphere helped to ensure that the party will be remembered for a long time to come.
