us that focused on the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A look into the future of AI: SCHMOBI&#8217;s vision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SCHMOBI&#8217;s vision is clear: the company wants to use AI to create real added value for its customers and secure its leading position in the digital steel trade.\nThe AI workshop provided a good platform to further concretize this vision and identify measures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>AI: hype or revolution?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key questions discussed in the workshop was whether AI is just hype or a revolutionary technology that can fundamentally change industries.\nThe participants were given in-depth insights into the various aspects of AI and its potential to optimize business processes and develop innovative solutions.\nIt quickly became clear that AI is far more than just a trend and that its applications can have a far-reaching impact on the future of the company.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Practical applications and opportunities for SCHMOBI<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another focus of the AI workshop was the practical use of AI in everyday life.\nThe participants worked in groups to identify and evaluate various use cases.\nParticular attention was paid to how AI agents carry all the company&#8217;s knowledge, are available 24 hours a day for customers and employees and can speak all languages.\nThese capabilities could revolutionize customer service and make internal processes significantly more efficient.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" transition from simple AI tools such as ChatGPT to advanced AI agents offers numerous opportunities, but also harbors risks.\nThese aspects were discussed in the workshop, with a focus on how SCHMOBI can use these technologies safely and effectively.\nThe discussion about the potential disruptive impact of AI on SCHMOBI&#8217;s business model was particularly exciting.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Evaluation of use cases<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A key part of the workshop was the joint identification and evaluation of AI use cases.\nThe participants identified several promising opportunities, including: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Optimization of customer service through the use of AI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expansion of market position through further digital services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increasing the efficiency of processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consolidation and expansion of the leading position of the steel portal.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/stahlportal.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/stahlportal.ch\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These use cases were then examined in terms of their feasibility and strategic benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A highlight: demos of generative AI applications<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A highlight of the workshop were the demos of Generative AI applications presented by the Online Group.\nThese demos impressively showed how Generative AI can contribute to increasing efficiency and creativity in various business areas.\nParticipants were able to experience live how such applications can automate processes, generate innovative solutions and open up new business opportunities.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The result: a strengthened SCHMOBI team<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The AI workshop not only left participants with a broader understanding of the possibilities of artificial intelligence, but also ideas and strategies for implementation.\nBy proactively using AI, the company is not only positioning itself as a digital market leader in steel trading, but also ensuring that it remains at the forefront of innovation and continuously offers its customers increased added value.
