You can now find quick answers to these and many other questions at www.sg.ch. The new AI-supported search function supports you around the clock, in seconds – and in any language. It is designed to make it much easier to find information on the canton’s most important communication channel.
Around 40,000 users visit the portal every day. With around 20,000 pages and documents, finding the right information is a real challenge. This is exactly where our solution comes in: The AI analyzes the entire website at lightning speed and provides you with precise answers and suitable links.
Test phase running – until May 28, 2025
After two successful internal test rounds, the entire population is invited to test the new AI search from yesterday. Until May 28, 2025, you can try out the intelligent AI search at www.sg.ch or directly via www.ki.sg.ch and rate the quality of the answers.
Your feedback will help the Canton of St.Gallen to further develop and continuously improve the search. Once the test phase is complete, the feedback collected will be evaluated. Whether the AI search will be permanently integrated into the website will be decided based on these findings, among other things.
During the test phase, the AI search can be accessed directly via a button on the sg.ch homepage – or alternatively via the direct link ki.sg.ch.
