Insights into the Digital Innovation Day 2025
On September 12, 2025, digihub.li hosted the Digital Innovation Day in Schaan, right in the heart of Liechtenstein. The event brought together companies, administration, science and interested individuals to bring digital innovation to life. A varied program, exciting keynotes, interactive formats and the opportunity to network made the event an ideal meeting place for anyone interested in the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation.
Organization and atmosphere
The organization of the event was outstanding: from the welcome to the program items to the networking aperitif, every detail was just right. Particularly noteworthy was the location in the modern SAL, which offered ideal conditions for presentations, exhibitions and discussions. The catering also played its part, not least the freshly prepared crèpes, which were met with enthusiasm by the guests.
SME marketplace: innovations you can touch
A central component of the Digital Innovation Day was the SME marketplace. Here, regional companies presented their innovations and provided insights into specific applications and products. For us as Online Group, it was the perfect opportunity to make our topics around Generative AI, Microsoft Cloud and process digitization tangible. With our brand-new branded stand, we were able to attract many visitors and engage in exciting conversations. Concrete examples of how digital technologies can be used in practice in day-to-day business were particularly in demand.

Encounters and dialogs
The focus was on personal exchange. Numerous participants took the opportunity to find out about challenges and solutions in the field of digital innovation. It was exciting for our team to see how much interest there is in questions relating to AI, digitalization and future skills. The conversations ranged from initial impulses to in-depth discussions that will certainly continue beyond the event.
Learning Nugget by Balz Zürrer: Vibe coding as a game changer
One highlight from our point of view was Balz Zürrer’s Learning Nugget on the topic of vibe coding. Learning nuggets are compact keynote speeches on a specific topic that impart practical knowledge in a short space of time.
Under the title “Vibe Coding – the AI turbocharger for digitalization”, Balz Zürrer impressively demonstrated how companies can combine speed, creativity and security with a new approach to software development.

The core idea: employees become citizen developers who can develop their own applications using modern tools such as Lovable.dev or Microsoft Power Platform. While traditional IT departments focus on security, governance and scalability, vibe coding opens up new scope for rapid prototypes and productive solutions.
“Citizen developers are there whether you like it or not. Your company becomes a software company. Governance determines success or chaos.”
Balz Zürrer
Group CEO
The great interest in this learning nugget was also reflected in the fact that the room was very well filled. The audience was given practical insights into how vibe coding promotes innovation and how risks such as shadow IT can be minimized at the same time.
Practical relevance and added value
Our contribution to the event was aimed at demonstrating not only theoretical concepts, but also concrete added value. We presented practical examples, including from projects with the Liechtenstein National Administration. These examples underlined how digital innovation can be implemented in collaboration with partners from the public and private sectors and the benefits that companies derive from it.
Networking and partnerships
After the official program, the aperitif provided an ideal opportunity to make contacts and deepen existing partnerships. In a relaxed atmosphere, topics could be discussed further, new ideas developed and future collaborations initiated. It is precisely this mix of specialist input and personal exchange that makes the Digital Innovation Day such a valuable format.
Conclusion: Digital innovation as a joint project
Digital Innovation Day 2025 showed once again that digital innovation is not just a buzzword, but is taking on concrete forms, be it in new technologies, innovative projects or active partnerships. For us as the Online Group, it was a great pleasure to be part of this fantastic day. We took away a lot of ideas and are looking forward to continuing the discussions and contacts.
