Ugly sweaters and liquid Christmas cheer
Our Christmas Party 2025 was all about “Cozy Christmas” and that’s exactly how the evening felt. Warm, relaxed, cheerful and wonderfully Christmassy. As soon as we arrived, it was clear that today was not going to be a “dressed up” party, but a cozy one. Numerous Ugly Christmas Sweaters created an instant festive atmosphere. Some of them even went one step further and glowed cheerfully. By then it was clear that restraint was a thing of the past.
Three fire bowls crackled outside for the reception, spreading a cozy warmth. There was also mulled wine, mulled cider and pumpkin soup from the cauldron. Over ten liters of mulled wine were consumed at the aperitif alone, a figure that definitely deserves a mention. The offer was supplemented by other Christmas drinks such as Eggnog. Steaming cups, red cheeks and lots of conversation made for a perfect start to the evening.
Guess, guess, win
This year, Cozy Christmas was not just about candlelight and mulled wine, but also about a very special anniversary. The #proudOnliner family is celebrating its 30th anniversary and this was celebrated in a playful way.
Games were played even before the meal. Two guessing games provided for discussions, spontaneous calculations and creative tips. How many treasures are hidden in the jars? There was also a quiz about the #proudOnliner family. Who remembers how it all began and how many lattes Michi Kammerer drinks per day? The answer 10 caused laughter and the faint hope that the coffee machine will never go on strike.
Christmas food and a dessert to melt in your mouth
After the aperitif, it was time to head inside, where things got really cozy. Lights were twinkling everywhere, red bows set warm accents and, as a little surprise, there was a festively decorated Christmas tree. The food was Christmassy through and through and everyone loved it. Nobody had to go hungry, on the contrary.
The crowning glory came with dessert. Warm panettone, wonderfully festive and just the thing after such an evening.
White Elephant, karaoke and big stage moments
Then the next highlight awaited: we played “White Elephant”. Presents were opened, stolen, defended and passed on with great emotion. The rules were quickly explained and chaos ensued immediately. A drone, chocolate and a drinking game, which was of course also tested later, were particularly coveted gifts.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the karaoke stage was opened later on. From Christmas classics to songs that you might not have immediately expected, everything was there. Courageous performances, surprising voices and lots of applause made it clear that Cozy Christmas can also be loud.
We’ll keep quiet about how long the party lasted in style. One thing is certain: Cozy Christmas lived up to its name. An evening full of warmth, games, enjoyment, singing and exactly the sense of togetherness that characterizes our Online Group.
