Andreas “Andy” Rakozi has been shaping Online Consulting AG for 15 years – with his determined, thoughtful manner, his analytical thinking and a sense of humor that could hardly be drier. As Project Manager and Solution Architect, he ensures that ideas become functioning solutions: from intranet and collaboration platforms to document management and process digitization with form and workflow solutions.

Andy brings passion and spirit to every project. With his enthusiasm for smart solutions, his composure in challenging situations and his team spirit, he ensures constructive cooperation. And no matter what goes wrong, Andy always finds a workable solution.

In these 15 years, Andy has not only successfully implemented countless projects, but has also developed a lot personally. Formerly more of a classic lone fighter who simply tackles things and sees them through, at Online he has learned how valuable and inspiring teamwork is.
“I had to learn to listen to other opinions and ideas – and behold, the result was often even better than I had imagined,” says Andy.
An honest insight that shows: Andy keeps moving – both professionally and personally.

Challenges as a daily constant

Andy never stands still. Every working day brings new challenges and this is precisely what he finds so appealing about his job. Even if not everything succeeds straight away, he doesn’t see them as setbacks, but as starting points for constructive solutions.

His motto: don’t wallow in the past, but stay in the here and now, move with the times and like to be one step ahead professionally.

Humor, carnival and Santa Claus

Anyone who knows Andy knows that he takes his work seriously, but not always himself. His humor, peppered with Appenzell wisdom, is a regular source of laughter in the team. He likes to be involved in team events and other festivities. For him, such events are not only fun, but also an opportunity to get to know his colleagues better in a different environment.

This sometimes reveals unexpected talents. He will never forget one highlight: “My former work colleague Didi Hermann was the best online Samichlaus of all time for me.”

And when Andy is not digitizing processes or structuring projects, his heart beats for his great passion: carnival – his personal fifth season.

Flexibility, family and further development

One aspect that Andy particularly appreciates about Online is the freedom to combine work and private life flexibly. As a father and former assistant coach in his boys’ ice hockey team, he has always been able to combine family and career well – a sign of how much further development is supported at Online, not only professionally but also privately, and how flexibility is a way of life.
