From the office stairs to the starting line
What began as a spontaneous idea in the break room ended with happy faces, sore muscles and lots of applause: four of our colleagues took part in this year’s St.Gallen Ascension Run – across all distances.
Our runners
Salischa, who used climbing stairs in the office as an opportunity to improve her stamina, was able to motivate several online runners with her energy to train together – and ultimately sign up for the run. She was joined at the start:
- Fabienne over 10 km
- Robin and Jessy in the half marathon
- Salischa over 6 km
Reto unfortunately had to cancel at short notice due to injury – but was there as a supporter on the course.

Training directly from the workplace
In the weeks leading up to the event, the team met twice a week for training – once in the morning and once at lunchtime, directly from the office. This turned a small idea into a real team project, in which almost every route was covered by an Onliner in the end.
Team spirit and mutual support
The staggered start times allowed them to cheer each other on and celebrate – a great community experience!
Next destination already in sight
And because it was so much fun, the running training will now be continued immediately: once a week, fixed jogging is now on the program, and the next registration is already being planned
