The festive Christmas season is not only a time for contemplative moments, but also for exuberant celebrations. The #proudonliners celebrated the Christmas parties last week both at our location in Wil SG and in Wroczlaw (Poland).
A journey back in time to the 70s
In Wil, we have come up with something special this year and have given our Christmas party the motto “70’s party”. The party started at 6.30 p.m. – the guests arrived one by one, most of them boldly dressed in their best 70s outfits. It was a sight characterized by excitement and good humor. The evening began with a relaxed aperitif and a selection of drinks from the bar. Even the management got behind the bar to serve delicious cocktails, beer and soft drinks.
The first official item on the evening’s program was the speech by Balz Zürrer, our CEO.
He paid tribute to the dedication of our employees over the past year. Those who have recently joined our team were warmly welcomed once again and surprised with a small gift. The buffet was then opened, with a variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste.
At around 9 p.m., an entertaining 70s quiz ensured a good atmosphere. The younger participants may have had their difficulties, but the laughter and shared joy were the main focus. Afterwards, the trophy for the “Best Dress” was awarded – a tribute to the most creative outfit of the evening. Then the disco part of the evening officially began, with a cool DJ heating things up with well-known hits from the 70s. The exact duration of the party remains our little secret, but one thing is certain: it was a complete success! A big thank you goes to the organizing committee led by Yasmin Schnelli, Jessica Mylius, Jennifer Banas, Ana Mokofic and Uschi Koller.
There were also celebrations in Poland
The celebrations were not only exuberant in Switzerland. A few days before the festive celebrations in Wil, our Polish colleagues in Wroclaw went on a boat to celebrate their Christmas as well. They were joined by Balz Zürrer, Marco Denzler, Ralf Angermann and Robin Nater from Switzerland. A festive menu with a variety of starters and twelve different dishes was served in the form of a buffet on a jetty. Rafal Zimoch, CEO of Poland, warmly welcomed all those present, thanked them for their excellent work over the past year and took an optimistic look into the future, with ambitious growth targets for the coming year. Balz Zürrer joined in the words of thanks, praising Rafal, Filip and Magdalena in particular for their outstanding achievements.
