#oneonline: Team focus, evolution and collaboration
As we often exchange ideas online between Switzerland and Poland, the online group meets every year for a joint employee event – a sign of our commitment to cultivating our culture and fostering collaboration. This year we chose Amsterdam, a city known for its diversity, creativity and innovation. We put the evolution of our company at the center of the trip and had three very educational and fun days.
The program offered a selection of exciting workshops that were developed, organized and moderated by our own employees.
Mental Health – Chill Out, Stress No More
In this course, Magdalena and Filip explained to us how to increase mental well-being and reduce stress at work with relaxation exercises. During the practical yoga exercises and a session of progressive muscle relaxation, we experienced on our own bodies how beneficial correct breathing and mindfulness can be and that this has a positive effect on body and mind. These methods are good to incorporate into our daily work routine to relax and energize us in between.
Personality and communication – discover your animal
We all want to be able to identify our strengths, improve our weaknesses, and communicate effectively with different personality types. Yasmin showed us how to approach this area in this workshop. With Tobias Beck’s personality test we found out which types of animals dominate in our being. In the evaluation, we learned more about our strengths and weaknesses, received concrete tips on how to better use our potential, and input on how to deal with other personalities.
AI – the incredible possibilities of artificial intelligence
There are few things more exciting than exploring the ever-evolving world of AI. Maciej led this interactive workshop and assisted the groups with hands-on experiments. We tried to use AI to draw intelligent instructions and solutions from the combination of pdf files and personal specifications. The result was amazing and very convincing. It was an instructive training that made clear what incredible potential lies dormant in AI.
Hip scene district, mystery tour and city sightseeing
As another highlight, we headed to the NSDM shipyard in the evening, a former shipyard site that is now a creative hotspot. The modern NSDM model reflects the online group’s evolution to business solutions based on cloud, low code, and AI.
To explore the city, the OC team had chosen two exciting activities that showed Amsterdam from different perspectives. On the one hand the Mystery Tour, a mixture of treasure hunt, Escape Room and city tour and on the other hand the Who is Amsterdam Tour, which let us dive deep into the culture and the hottest topics of the city.
The mix of different cultures and the languages Polish, English and German was again a great experience that brought us closer together as an online group. We had the opportunity to develop personally and professionally, discover new perspectives and have fun. We are proud of our evolution and look forward to the new era that started with our fresh brand identity in August.
