Twice a year we, the Online Group, experience a special highlight: the Swiss-Polish Week. This exchange brings our Polish colleagues from Wroclaw to us in Wil SG and us to them in Wroclaw. The aim of this visit is to get to know the colleagues at the other location better, to discuss processes directly with each other and to strengthen further cooperation. The focus is on mutual learning and understanding of other cultures and ways of working.
Encounters and cooperation
We were delighted to welcome Aleksandra Snoch, Daniel Kapecki and Krzysztof Cichopek to Wil for this year’s Swiss-Polish Week. Together with their team, they spent exciting working days with us. The direct communication and personal exchange helped to optimize existing processes and develop new ideas. By working together, we were not only able to deepen our professional relationships, but also gain valuable insights into the working methods and culture of our Polish colleagues.
Socializing and culture
In addition to the productive working days, there is also plenty of evening entertainment. A particular highlight of this week was the visit to the Chopfab brewery in Winterthur. Team leader Ralf Angermann and his team were introduced to the art of brewing beer by master brewer Benjamin Richter and were able to sample different types during a beer tasting session. The evening ended perfectly with a cozy dinner in the Boilerroom in Winterthur, where we had the opportunity to share our experiences and impressions in a relaxed atmosphere.
Outlook for the next exchange
The Swiss-Polish Week is more than just a professional exchange – it is an opportunity to deepen friendships and strengthen mutual understanding. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Poland and the new experiences and insights it will bring. See you in Poland!
