A practical example: Automating incident reporting
In this case, Balz Zürrer and Michael Meyer show how a business process can look like using the example of an incident. In the process, a customer fills out a form (Incident) on Portal4Industry. The request is automatically transferred to a SharePoint list in the customer service department. From there, the request is prioritized and various follow-up processes can be triggered depending on the level of importance. Some examples: Push-up notifications, mails and Planner Tasks. The process sequences and the integrated systems can be configured flexibly and without programming knowledge at any time.
Costs and workload of the cloud solutions
The processes can be created in a matter of hours to days. The licensing costs for the required technologies are already included in many Microsoft 365 enterprise licenses.
